Because the bad hurts, and is more easily remembered than the good. Why do newspapers only print the bad news and not the news. That is what gets the attention.

Good luck

Could be the limiting sightedness caused by the eye patch. Just kidding, I couldn't resist.

People listen to judge and have poor communication. Just reiterate that you need the person to look at the good as well as the bad. People are dysfunctional, but communication levels the playing field.

You are so right, accentuate the positive and just keep pushing it through! That is what I do! I try not to let negativity and criticism win or have its way. People seem to like to be punished and feel comfort in conflict. It takes a big person to work through and focus on the good. Keep doing that, okay? K.

We are just human, aren't we?

We always think "it's the other party, i'm okay." Partly, the solution is that we should learn to accept the blame sometimes.

Sometimes it's wise not to talk about the burning issue at the time when there is tension. When your partner is in a good mood, try to iron out your problem.

couples can get on each others nerves. They must be able to communicate calmly about everything. There seems to be a lot of non-communicators out there.

Human nature, everyone wants to blame everyone else, no one wants to admit they are also in the wrong.

If one or other sacrifice his or her own interests for their counterpart, then there is no gap between them.
