I really liked Dr. Phil when he was just a shrink that made guest appearances on Oprah, but now that he has his own show, it just seems that he uses his fame to flog his self-help books. I have not purchased or read one of his books, but find myself curious if they truly are filled with wisdom and information. Have you ever purchased and/or read one of his books and if yes, please advise me if they were worth it. Thanks all!

I have never read any of his books and I don't think he is that good either but if you really want to know about his books why don't you check at your local library to see if they have any books by him and see for yourself whether they are worthwhile to read and eventually buy.
