I was born a New York Giants fan...frankly, if I'd have been born on a Sunday (I wasn't) and they were playing at home, my father would have been at the game, not the hospital...but I grew up with them, saw the good, the bad and the very ugly...sad my dad died before they won the Super Bowl...that day I cried...

I have to say that I grew up with the Buffalo Bills and still remember the the old AFL games played at the rockpile in Buffalo,New York called the War Memorial Stadium.
I saw O.J. Simpson play,Jack Kemp,Tom Sestak,Jim O'Donnell,Paul Maguire, and saw many of the old AFL players that came through that stadium.
I lived through the 4 Super Bowl losses ,but the excitement that the team brought the city of Buffalo will never be forgotten.
I live in Denver now,and have always like the Broncos as one of my favorite teams, but my heart still lies with the Buffalo Bills.
I am sure you remember the 85 Bears team the most powerful team, that no one could beat that year..they were awesome ,but unfortunately they were 1 hit wonders I guess ,they haven't made it back since to the Super Bowl .
Week 1 is next Sunday and another season will be underway soon, can't wait.

i love steelers since 95.
thats when i started playing freshmen FB and decidedd i needed a favorite team and player.
i did some research and pittburghs colors, the way they looked, mentality, team history, the way the y play ball (ground and pound on O and a stiff D)
they were furocious.
that year they went to the superbowl and lost, unfortunately but i stuck with them through their scheiÃe years and through kordell stewart and my patience paid off.
my favorite player of all time is Kevin Greene.
active player is polomalu (?) i only like defensive players and tough running backs, or tight ends.

I am a 49er faithful. Since I live in the East Bay, I also cheer for the Raiders. When they play each other, I just cheer.

It was the 49er's, but that was when Joe Montana was the quarterback. I don't watch much football anymore.

I have been a fanatic Steelers fan, as is the rest of my family, my entire life, since we are all originally from the Pittsburgh area.
Hines Ward RULES. Plus he has the same birthdate as me (but I'm alot older).
