try a local 2nd hand furniture shop. as a last resort try a house clearance firm but only as a really desperate last resort. theres plenty in the yellow pages. heres how they work, a bloke will come round eye up your stuff and say "well things is slow at the minute i can only offer ya 120," you say oh i was offered 300 by another firm. they will try and rip you off.

Look up (Yellow Pages)any second hand furniture shops or house clearance firms. There should be a few in South London, not too far from Waterloo. If they are interested, they'll come round and give a price. They have to make their profit, so don't expect as much as if you were selling privately. They won't take 3 piece suits or setees without the "kite" mark though.

Take a look at www.fridayad.co.uk it's a site that you can post free ads in for your local area and also they send a friday ad free magazine out every week and leave them in newsagents for people to grab.
