coins are beautiful, they shine. they tell us of a distant past, when we tend to thing men had honour, all was beautiful, an age of "pure soeuls", of great wars, and so on. also, they are worth something, and adding and extra coin makes us feel like our treasure just got bigger,and, that is true :)
