My girlfriend is from South Africa and has been here for almost 2 years and has go back soon as her visa is running out, we don't want to get married yet but have been staying together since the begining of this year and would like to stay as partners how can i get her visa extended so that we can stay as partners.

Why didn't u marry her? H o r u??? I'm like u now but i'm a woman!!! I want to marry with my love but he didn't ready!!! He is 25 and me 24 . We have been togther a year. 2 months ago he went back his country for work!!! Hever, he called me everyday...I love him too much my no choise to me i can't choose only wait!!! I'm not happy to wait but i can't 4get him too bcause i love him too much...i will b waiting him untill he back if he will not stop to contact me b4!!! I wish her back to close to u soon...G luck

I am not a INS rep or a lawyer, but I know that there is a way where you as an american citizen can request for someone from another country come stay with you and spend a "vacation" in the US, if that is not considerable and if she works she can get a letter from her employer specifying that some of her duties are essential therefore she is valuable so she can get a working visa. Can you get married and if it looks like it is not going to work, then get it annulled?? If no other way. Getting married might be just the right thing to do. .

This is actually very simple except you want to play games. Marry the girl. If this prospect does not appeal to you, then perhaps you do not love her.

just marrie here you can always get a divorce it aint a big thing any more plus you can just get a small regersty office and no one will no if you dont wear the rings

let her go back to SA after a time you will know what she means to you......or not! if you can,t live with out her...marry the girl,try it, its not that BAD.

go to college... prove a company there really needs her... exe... the form you need hover is a dd 249. this can give her minamal citizenship.
