that is right.. It happens normally due to hormonal changes that occur during this period that means your breasts go to be meloons! but that is nice still they may be painful for the first child but exciting after that...they get filled with milk for the baby. All what you have to do is keep on nurcing your baby and carefull message using baby lotion while you are sitting holdin one of them with your hand and doing it with the other that will make you feel better..... any questions ask me then....... have a nice pregnancy and nice body...Good luck!

It is a foreseen side-effect of the pregnancy that you breasts will hurt more. The milk producing glands are swelling and getting ready to produce milk to provide for the baby, which often creates discomfort.
The reason they won’t hurt so much during your period, is that the hormones responsible for triggering the growth of the glands are produced during your period, but at smaller amounts, thus not creating major physical changes.
This, of course, changes from one woman to the next.

This often happens since the body is still absorbing the idea of being pregnant but with time you will not even notice the pain fading away but will soon resume when you deliver and start breastfeeding especially if it is your first.

It's a normal part of pregnancy but I believe it doesn't happen to all.
My wife's boobs hurt for a while, but they also increased in size too. It made me happy.

With my first kid, my boobs killed, looking at them made them hurt. It was way more painful than period boobs. They were sore, swollen, tingly...it sucked. But good lord were they HUGE.
