It was designed with anonymity in mind, hence the use of avatars...but now it is becoming a hunting ground for peoples in search of something or someone.

Someone will make a mistake, let a psycho into their lives, and it will go horribly wrong...happens all the time on the interweb...will it happen on this website?

ha ha ha to Rex!!!

Ichi why did you have to stir up thoughts again.......you are the roots of all evil on this site!!!

when i drive my car, there is a possibility i might have an accident but i love the speed it can deliver so i still drive it.

when we have sex, theres the possibility of disease but we love the feeling so we still have sex.

here i answer questions, theres a posibility to attract a psycho, yet i still answer questions.

the posibilities are there, good or bad it is up to you what the outcome will be.

Ichi i hate serious questions.......are you in trouble?? who did you slaughter this time?

Perhaps, perhaps not.

It would be nice for once though, for people to actually be responsible for their own actions, and in this case their own stupidity.

If you want to be a fool and go meeting up with strangers from the net, then you should take 100% responsibility for your own actions, not go pointing fingers at the place you met them.

If I went home with some guy I met at a bar or club, and he then proceeded to attack me, I could hardly go and blame the company that owns the place I met him - why does this apply on-line?

Be aware, be responsible - and if the worst comes to the worst, turn of your computer, but to blame yahoo, or msn or any other company for your own silliness is just dumb.

Well, not so much that... but, it's becoming increasingly more popular, and Yahoo will soon need a server larger than anything the U.S. government has ever heard of to contain it. Too much traffic!

It already has. A molester found several victims through Yahoo Answers and has been dealt with by law enforcement.

Absolutely.

Almost everything i've ever known has become a victim of it's own success.

It's just a matter of time.

I reckon it already has. What makes things worse is that you can access peoples hostory of questions & answers & pretty much get all the info about them from there.

It's inevitable that someone will do something stupid and get caught up with an online predator, but that isn't this site's fault.
