Why aren't we addressing our schools , the health care system , immigration issue , gas prices and wage increases , plus many other issues that are not working and no one is speaking about them ? Don't we care whats going on here at home . We don't need to be attacted from the outside . We are losing our country from the inside .

You said it. Imagine if all those billions of dollars spent on the war would be invested into all the things you mentioned above. That will never happen with our government though.

Hey, look on the bright side..... jobs r being created....the economy is moving....

In a wars....tecnologies r required....weapons r required.....fuel r required....rations r required....clothings r required....people r being employed....either 2 work in factories or 2 fight wars....

And starting a war is the perfect way 2 use up weapons that r expirying soon and also test new weapons (2 show case 2 the world, and generate more weapon sales) ...After the wars, u still get rebuilding contracts....monopoly of resources in the country u conquered, additional payout 2 maintain security in the conqured country....

Lets forget about the lost of lives (civilian + military), the disabled soldiers returning, the monies wasted on weapons instead of education or development, the possible terror attacks....n move on wif life...

Cheers...

By focusing on the war it keeps our government from having to deal with the very issues you noted in your question.

That might explain why there is so much media focus on the war over issues in our own nation. How dumb does government think us to be that what is happeneing "over there" is going to blind us as to what is going on 'over here"!

We, the public of American, care, and it seems we feel helpless to get the head of this nation to get focused on the nation, and therefore, the people who elected the very officials that seem to be ignoring this nation's problems.
