Yes, I am a published poet. I can't choose two lines I like best but woould you like a poem-a short one?
Sleep
Headstones, crooked as un-braced teeth
Name the remains that lie beneath
And march the hills in staggered rows,
Soldiers guarding the bones below.
And from the stones in morning light,
The crows erupt in sudden flight.
Their cries that slice the silence deep
Cannot disturb eternal sleep.
