its very good but every time i watch it i expect ian mcshane to pull out an antique from under the bar...or maybe he would like lady jane felsham as his good time girl!! if your reading this ian..sorry to typecast you..lol but i have favourite actors and i watch it avidly..because hes in it..(just like sharpe for sean bean)

"Deadwood" is one of the few shows I have watched regularly over the past couple of years. I thought Seasons 1 and 2 were excellent. I thought there was a real dropoff in Season 3 - Milch seemed to have lost his way, and got more wrapped up in process over product. Still, it was very, very good.

Brilliant series,very authentic in detail,great website,unfortunately spolied by excessive foul language.A lot of the swear words used
weren't even around in those days.
