You do dream in color, and in two ways. One the actual dream can be in color, mine are full color, the others there are different shades - monochromatic.
Readers Digest recently published an article on dreaming in color - reading your brain activity which was measured in color. Certain colors meant certain things - but it wasn't an exact science. You might look for the issue for more info.

I dream in color all the time. I'm not sure if it holds special meaning, though I have heard people are only supposed to dream in black and white. I have all 5 senses in my dreams, so everything is very vivid. Try to look up vivid or lucid dreaming online somewhere. There is a lot of info about dreams. Sorry I could not answer the entire question, but I hope I helped at least a lil bit! Good luck in your search.

I always dream in color and I thought everyone did. I don't ever remember dreaming in black and white and can't figure out why we would. Life is full of colors so why shouldn't dreams be full of color?
It doesn't mean anything special I don't think. Nothing special ever occurred from mine.

Sometimes color in the dream can signify something, but most of the time, the content of the dream is way more important than the color.
In you case, it all depends on the dream. Yes, it has some meaning to it if it stands out for certain things in your dream

I might have dreamed in color, but I'm not so sure. I personally don't think color has anything to do with the meaning of our dreams.

The dream journals of the subjects were scanned for the mention of color. Color names from the dream reports were grouped to correlate with the eight colors in the Luscher Test we used. Color frequency reports were sorted into monthly or yearly aggregates based on the correlation being tested for. Monthly or yearly aggregates, for example, would be tested against specific emotional events during that timeframe. The sum total of all reports would be used to test against baseline personality profile.

I can only remember one dream that wasn't in color. It was a horrible nightmare I had when I was about 6. It actually gave me a little bit of deja vu a few days later. It didn't progress to the nightmare stage of the dream luckily. It was cloudy in my dream though so maybe that contributed to the black and white.

I always dream in color, but not like seeing a movie but actually being there, feeling and interacting with the dream environment.

There may be more science to it, but from what I remember, I always have dreamt in color. I would guess it was just really vivid, which from my experience, the vivid dreams usually occur when I think a lot before falling asleep
