Is it wise to team up Groudon and Kyogre together in a double battle?

Question

now when i refight the gym leaders again i use them both together, is it wise?my Groudon is level 72 and and my Kyogre is level 70

my groudon knows Fire Blast, Rest,Solarbeam and Fissure, My Kyogre knows Hydro Pump, Sheer Cold, Double Edge and Rest

in Pokemon Emerald

there is no "wisdom" to worry about.

i am curious as to which weather effect you choose to allow to stay.

see, with rain dance (kyogre's ability), grouden's fire blast will not hit as hard as it potentially could, and solar beam will take an extra turn to work, plus i think solar beam will be a little weaker (but i could be wrong) - but kyogre's hydropump will be stronger... although the tech 'thunder' will be 100% instead of the normal 70%, which is dangerous to kyogre.

and with sunny day (grouden's ability) hydropump will be weaker, although thunder will now be at 50%. fire blast will be stronger, and solarbeam will work on the turn it's used.

pairing them together isn't the best thing you can do...
