I want to pass on my condolences following the sad passing of a huge character, Steve Irwin but I don't know if there's a website or a contact address to write my heartfelt symathies. Can anyone help me out here?

discovery.com has a section for condolences to steve.....

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

On 'myspace,' under 'Steve Irwin,' there is a website specifically made to leave a note for Terri. Press 'search,' at myspace, then when the directory comes up, its on one of the last few pages, like pages 15 or 14, then you can post. The site looks legit and promises Terri will get the messages. Good luck.

Most people are making a donation to 'wildlife warriors' which was his conservation charity.
If you want to just send a note, try 'Australia Zoo' Do a search on google. There will be a site, I am sure as this is his zoo and home in Queensland Australia. I know lots of people have emailed him through this site in the past but if there is an overload or it can't handle the amount of emails (people here are pretty devastated and are turning up at the zoo in the thousands to place flowers and notes etc), they will have something on there to tell you where to write to.

I mean you no disrespect but did you know him or he know you? It amazes me how people get all emotional about the passing of famous people.
I had an employee who wanted to take the day off to line the streets at Diana's funeral. This same idiot never even turned up to a funeral for a long-standing work colleague.
What you need to do is concentrate your efforts on your friends and family rather than send worthless condolences to people who knew nothing of your existence!

There is a snail mail address at www.rememberingsteveirwin.net and www.rememberingsteveirwin.org where you can send a real card and some cash for his family. Good luck!
