I enjoy jazz on occasion but prefer rock & roll. And let me mention that the great jazz artists have been primarily black.

As for Rap, hip-hop...what ever the correct designation is...I'd rather have a visit to the dentist for another root canal. It is loud, offensive, degrades women and has a propensity for using the N word when I would be castigated for even uttering it if I were so inclined to join in rappin' along with a hip-hop song. Which I would never do.

What do you think; I like jazz but not Rap...does that make me a racist or just not a Rap music lover?

Not into jazz that much, but to me it's not loud at all. Every type of music person out there can tell you that what ever music they hate, it's nothing but noisy trash.

Some jazz is super noisy and some jazz is super mellow, and everything in between. Your question is such a broad generalization. You should hear it all before you call it anything.

I've never considered jazz noisy, when I hear the word I think of relaxing, moody, soft, mellow.

Now heavy metal, rap, hip hop - that's noisy.

Which form of Jazz? Have you ever listened to Tommy Dorsey or Louis Armstrong?

No, Jazz uses talent and soul.

Rap, on the other hand, just sucks. No talent in the instruments, no talent in the vocals, not worth listening to.
