If your computer has room, you can add another PCI network card. Or if it doesn't have any slots available, you can remove the first USB ethernet adapter, plug in another hub into the first hub, and then plug the etherent adapters into the second hub. With USB you are allowed to daisy chain up to 127 devices.

Actually, I would recommend plugging a new hub directly into the computer, then plug the ethernet adapters into the new hub, then plug the old hub into the new hub. I would only use USB if you can't use PCI network cards.

I can't think of a reason why your hub would need both ethernet & USB cables connected. My hub is capable of wireless, ethernet & USB connection but I only need to use one of them. I chose ethernet because it allows the fastest data transfer rate. I seriously doubt you need to have both cables connected at the same time, best thing to do is contact your network administrator and check with them.

All you need is an Ethernet Hub Switch that has 5 ports. Go to http://www.jr.com to purchase one.

For £10 you can buy a new PCI ethernet card which will install internally in the PC.

You could buy an ethernet card and put it in an available PCI slot. That is what i did, to give me 2 ethernet ports.
