I would like to know how these bikes hold up under normal riding conditions and day to day use. Do they require a large amount of maintenance or are they easily maintained? How difficult is it to find parts? Am I going to be spending a lot of time looking for and replacing parts? Thank you for any help you can give.

Excelsior-Henderson closed in 2001 or 2002. They require about the same amount of maintenance as a Harley and have similar handling characteristics to an H-D.

I'm sure you know they are out of business and only produced bikes for a few years. Might not be to easy to get anything but the simplest parts such as plugs, tires, ect.

they are out of business. parts? good luck. i do not think anyone ever wrote a service manual. if you do buy one, put it in a museum and maybe you'll have something in the future to retire on. do you see many of them around? do you see many of them for sale?
