I had got sick and whatever, and i have a cold, and i dont know what i should take to make it go away faster. I dont like cough syrup at all, so i was wondering if anyone can tell me what should i use to make this stuff go away, because i hate being sick.

Drink lots of fluids. Orange juice and milk I avoid though because they give me mucous. I find taking lots of hot showers, 3-4 a day until you're healthy seems to help, gets rid of the germs. Chicken Noodle Soup should help too.

Take vitamins such as Vitamin C that's good for the immune system. Eat fruits that is rich in Vitamin C.Take sometimes Vitamin D which comes from the sunlight.Since your taking a bath every morning do a hot bath. Don't let your body wet dry in your shirt changed it immediately to avoid runny stufffy nose. Actually it can cure but not as fast as you expected but it can really help how to avoid it.

First of all, a stuffy nose is normally cleared through steam inhalation. Stopping the mucus from infecting your throat is stage 2 and that can be eased by gargling with warm saline water. At night, be sure to raise the height of your pillow, that will help to keep your nose clear and help you sleep better.
Finally, it's worth spending a day a home - as you will prevent the germs from spreading to your colleagues at work!

Zinc!
If you have those first feelings (what ever yours might be) right before you get a cold, it can actually make it back off. If you actually have a cold going on, Vit. C and Zinc together make it leave much faster. I use zinc tablets but it's found in some foods, and some "energy" drinks.
Rose hips have the greatest vit. c content and can be found in many tasty teas.

Having hot showers, clearing your nose of any gunk and warm lemon drinks should help clear up your nose.

To rid yourself of the cold, sleep as much as possible and take vitamin c supplements. Drink lots of water and as much fresh food as possible.

go to bed and pull a lot of covers on top of you and get really hot for as long as you can stand it. Sleep that way if you can and your body temp will rise and it will kill the cold virus.

Eat a healthy diet (fruits, veggies, lean meats) with plenty of protein as it boosts your immune system. Buy a bottle of Vitamin C 1000mg pills and take one every couple of hours. Also drink TONS of water, which helps flush your system.
