Like mary4jokes said, a used PS2 would be the cheapest one you could get. Price would just depend on what the individual seller wanted. Try eBay.
The new, slimmer model is going to cost you more, I would think. The original model is the same functionally.

The price of PS2 has come down rapidly to Rs 5700/- with the advent of X Box and PS3. Thats the story for the moment. Wait till the price goes down further.

The new model costs more than the original one. But the cheapest one you would get from EBAY. No doubt that it would be a used one, though.
