I started answering questions for the first time yesterday and following each answer I gave, I was told by Yahoo that I was on a roll and to keep on answering questions. So I did, only to be informed that I'd reached my daily limit for answering questions. What the hell is that all about?

They want you to keep coming back and they want the points to mean something and also I think it is because they don't want you to get burnt out on answering a lot of questions, it is hard to want to keep that kind of momentum up. When I first started answering question I would reach the limit but after a while it just stop happening and now I just seek out the questions where I think I can give genuine help. I hope that helps a bit take care and pace yourself lol

Oh I almost forgot you could also get a 360 up and running. It's free and trust me you can get just as addict to that as well. You get to post abroad picture of who you and get to write how you are doing or feeling etc. and once you it her 360 friends you'll have a blast with it. You know when Yahoo answers says you can't answer any more you can see what everyone is up to on your 360

Yeah, like they should have messages for each time that you answer.

"Thanks! You've just answered a question" would be great for the first couple of answers.

"Wow! You're on a roll!" would be great after 5 answers maybe.

"Uno mas! You can only answer 1 more question today" just before you reach your limit.

When you have answered enough questions and/or been awarded 10 points for "best answer" your daily limits will be removed. Eventually, you will get past that point when you have enough points. Its like a game. Time will fix it. The frustration will be a thing of the past.

You are in Level 1, so you have a limit on answering questions. You can go vote to get 1 point for each vote.......there's a limit on this too.

Don't take it personally. It happens to everyone. Until you reach a certain level, you will have daily limits. You have to earn your way to unlimited privileges.

Yeah this thing can be quite addictive. There is a "points explained" link which tells you what you can do when youve reached certain point totals and they give the reasons for the point system

Hm... might be a tip for Yahoo to add the word "tomorrow" when you've reached your limit...
