I think only Asians from Asia, but not those born/raised in the Western world, think this way.

I've never heard it put that way, although historically speaking the Vietnamese have always posed a threat to their neighbors, Cambodians in particular, due to their large population. I think Lao and Cambodian people have had to live with the Vietnamese looking to expand.

Juju, I live in Japan, and I might tend to agree with you, and even suggest that other Asians should resent Japanese arrogance, but other Asians seem to spend too much time in awe of the Japanese.
Japanese do think they are the best people ever. Someone once told me that Japanese thought they were superior to anyone but Americans, but that now they think they are superior to everyone. I can tell you from experience that this is probably accurate.

vietnamese and filipinos are also asians. Chinese born in China, think they are the best thing in the world, and they think of all other countries as inferior, including japan and india and USA. Japanese, think they are the best people ever. I dont know about koreans. Indians think chinese are ugly as hell. I find all this pathetic. Of course all them think of vietnamese and filipinos as inferior.

most groups, of any kind, believe that they're better than other groups, of whatever kind. anectdotal support for your question: my friend's burmese-chinese (ie, born in burma of exclusively - and this is important, to her! - chinese ancestry) mother thinks all other asians beneath the chinese, and even believes in specific traits the various asian subgroups, universally, among themselves, share (ie, the vietnamese are man stealers, the japanese are stuck up, et al). my filipina ex notes that, even among filipinos, "race" is important (though there's not an unmixed filipino - or ANYTHING). she, being dark, though of "fully filipino" ancestry, was called, derisively, a, "negrita", or, "black", whereas the lighter skinned filipinos (like her mother, who is considered beautiful, because she looks japanese) are considered better, somehow, and mestizos (those of mixed parentage, especially white-filipino), are considered glamourous! she, herself, says that women she considers ugly, "look like maids", as she's from the middle class, and looks down on domestic servants (spoiled brat that she is), and has told me that the chinese and japanese communities keep themselves strictly apart from the native filipinos. pacific islanders, in general, i have heard, are thought to be "lower" than other asians. i hope that wasn't too mixed up.

there is racism and prejudice no longer basically to asians or filipino yet to the comprehensive universe. each united states there is black sheep :) I have a sturdy friends chinese,koreans,eastern,thai,singapore,... friends from diverse aspects of the international.surely those who seem down different nationalities, racist and discriminate others are those lonely,closed-minded and heartless man or woman.those ignorant and they want to practice themselves.we'd want to continuously no longer generalizing !

No, most asians get along for the most part. But most asians hate Japan cause they tried to rape all the other asian countries.
