Yes, I do. I get so nervous whenever I have to be in front of people, no matter the occasion. I used to hate giving speeches in school. At my baby shower a few years ago, I started getting so nervous while I was opening presents that I started to feel dizzy and I was on the verge of tears... of course that could have had something to do with the hormones too, lol. The funny thing is, I coach track, so for three months out of the year I have to be the center of attention with a group of about 80 middle school kids and for some reason that doesn't bother me (usually)... strange.

Occasionally. I just take deep breaths, do a little stretching, and remind myself that I'm not going to die.

Fun fact: The Buddhists speak of the five great fears of humankind:

fear of loss of life; fear of loss of livelihood; fear of loss of reputation; fear of loss of mind; and *speaking in front of an assembly*!

So if you do have that fear, just remind yourself you're human.

Add: In response to the "you'll just have to get over it" comment, some people don't, they just learn to deal with it. Laurence Olivier had to take medication for his stage fright.

Yes, terribly. I make it a point to never stand up and speak in front of people. There must be a name for this phobia!

Yes. Always. I internalise everything, so on the outside I appear OK, but on the inside my tummy is a mess!
