Ok, i got a trojan problem here. The full name is Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic3.KNM. BackDoor viruses cannot be accessed (that's the definition for back doors right?). How can you remove them?

Try and remove it by booting up in safe mode, then running your anti virus, antispyware, and anti adware programs. If this doesn't work, go to

www.bleepingcomputer.com

search the forums for your Trojan and hopefully you'll find a procedure on how to remove it.. I had one a while ago and I had to install a little program and follow some specific instructions. It worked though. good luck.

reset the computer, go to the start menu and go to search find windows task manager. Run it. then go to the Processes tab, find the name of the Trojan, copy the name of it down and go the the search again. locate the Trojan's files, try to delete it, if it says you can't then go to windows task manager under the processes tab and select the Trojan and end the it from there. Then go back to the files you found then delete them. That should get rid of it.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

Hi

I am sorry to read that you are having problems with your computer, but don't worry, I can help you to solve them here.

In order to give you the best possible advice we need to see a log from HijackThis. So, before we go any further, please follow this link and download version 1.99.1.

http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip

Once you have done that, save it to a convenient permanent folder such as C:\HJT\; then select the option in HijackThis to "Do a system scan and save a logfile".

NOTE:- Please do not attempt to fix items yourself, as you can do significant damage to your PC.

(Please don't forget to mention your problem name in the Subject of mail )
Please send it as attachment at ; - jsmith2451@yahoo.ca

I will be happy to take a look at it for you.

Trojans can be taken care of by good AND updated anti-virus programs like AVG(free.grisoft.com) and Avast(www.avast.com), both of which are completely free of cost! You can also get rid of them through powerful anti-spywares like ewido(free.grisoft.com) and AdAware(www.lavasoft.com) both of which are again free!!!!!!!!!!!!!Why worry?????????????
