My sister has missed three periods,her last period was she thinks it was in may... her test keep coming up neg, only one test came up a very pale pos...it was really pale.... she has a two year old, when she found out she was pregnant with her 2 year old she was over three months overdue, is it possible that she would be doing the exact same way this time around? Her doctor told her the last time she had ovulated really late and thats why it took three months for her to find out! that she was pregnant. So how many periods did you miss before you found out you were pregnant? She has made an apt with her doctor but they can't see her until Sept 28, which is a while off. They are too booked up. So any help will be great. Thanks.

Any pale line is a positive test. What is it a store bought test. The can detect up to 25 microns of HCG the hormone that results from the placenta growing. The tests we do at our center is more sensitive. The test we have is 99.6% accurate. No she could also go to a clinic and get a free ultrasound. But usually that test is positive even if it is pale pink.
A pregnancy can only be diagonosed by a sonogram, but if she has missed three periods she will definitely be able to see the baby on the sonogram.

Yeah it could be the same thing again. Is she stressed out a lot or has she been trying to get pregnant? My husband and i have been trying to get pregnant forever it seems like and I've made myself miss periods because I was stressed out. And then missing peroids only made me think I might be pregnant which in turn got me excited and made me miss even more. I think she should just be patient and maybe take another test in a week or so. Tell your sister good luck and congrats if she is.

ctuall one is enoungh and by 40 days the signs will show. If for any other reason by 45 days the period should come. If the teswts are keep comming neetive, it is better to haave a wash I mean a D and C operation which will bring regularity. Try to geta good gynocologist and act as per her advice.

well i have 2 children it always took me 1 time to miss it and i went and saw i was pregnant. but recently i missed like 4 months of my period and i was not pregnant then it came. some b.s.

Sorry, I can't help you because for both kids I missed only one period and after one week Pregnant test, Blood test, Ultrasound showed my pregnancy, for both kids same case.

Usually one, but some people have found out they were pregnant when they went into labour, some tests are not precise, she sounds like she could be pregnant.

I found out within 3 days but every one is differant ,even a faint line is positive so congrats to your sister.
