The team in first place traded away Jeff Kent, Curt Schilling and Carlos Zambrano and in return they got back Chris Capuano, Dontrelle Willis and Michael Cuddyer.

The team in 2nd place had cut the lead from 500 points to under 140 points in the last month or so.

Do you think this trade is SOOOO lopsided it demands to be vetoed?

I guess the idea of lopsided is in that for THIS SEASON first place trades away 3 dinged up players for 3 healthy ones.

this trade isnt really all that unfair, especially in a keeper league. kent and schilling arnt getting any younger and its not like injury is very far away from either. zambrano looks to be the most valuable player from that side of the trade. on the other side, capuano has showed a lot of upside the last 2 years and he along with willis are pretty young. cuddyer isnt anything special, but his numbers arent too incomparable with kents.
i dont think this trade is anything to get too excited about. it has some big names, but overall seems to be pretty fair

seems like a pretty fair deal
Scill and Zam are just as good and better than Cappy Dontrelle has had a big off year and Cuddy is playing well and much better than kent but its still a fiar deal

it is also unfair because the first place tema gets much tounger players in return, which will help next year. i would veto this.
