Very good player. Good scorer, rebounder, quick for his size, could block more shots, needs to be more aggressive. He ended last season with the Rockets very strong since he was the man with TMac out injured. He needs to continue that, but it remains to be seen if he can keep it up once TMac is back healthy.

he is actually underated. the expectations on him were too high when he came into the league in '02 as the #1 overall pick. recently however he is doing really well. He ended last season on a roll, doing really well. I think he is probably the best center in the NBA. he is a free agent after this season and many teams have been saving money to make a run at him. I am hoping the Lakers get him. Kobe and Yao would be the ultimate combo.

As somebody else already stated, Jeremy Lin is a sensational tale - underdog, bench participant with Harvard training who grew to become into an undrafted participant. As an NBA participant, he actual started from the backside and made it to the desirable (for a on an identical time as a minimum of). yet i think of of the two, Yao grew to become into standard (or a minimum of had skill to be) extra effective than Lin. Even Shaq stated that If Yao did no longer retire by way of his harm, he could have been a desirable 5 center of all time. yet i do no longer think of Shaq or anybody else can say the comparable difficulty approximately Lin being a desirable 5 factor look after. I additionally sense that the full "Linsanity" difficulty grew to become right into a one hit ask your self.

he really tall, a great passer and a decent scorer
he's also very soft, about a million steps behind on defense (makes up for it with pure bulk), can't jump, can't rebound, can run up and down the floor about five times and then he's winded, should be a lot more dominant given his size, strength and skill set
