Some 11 centuries ago, Nicephoros Phokas cuptured Crete, from Saracins. Then, how did he, under the orders of the Emperor and Church convert Cretnas to Christianity? What happen to the ones who did not convert? Thank you!

It's the same story. As Bush in Iran. What happen? 200000 had slottered... 300000 prisoners...
And then Christianity came and they who didn't convert:simple death...

Hello dear!
Well, after the Romans (called lately Byzantines) re-captured the island, send some priests to re-convert Cretans to Christianity! Since they were not re-converted easily, the Roman army exterminated dozens of thousands with the sole reason their religion was not Christianity!
