yeah it can definitely happen, it is possible to get stuck in them! I asked a question about this the other day :)
Some of the old sleeping bags - usually
very padded nylon ones, had zips that can only be zipped from one side.
If the bag was accidentally inside out then the zip could only be
zipped up from the outside, and there might be no way to unzip it from
the
inside, if the zip jammed stuck!
Sometimes hoods are fixed closed , held tight with elastic to keep
out the cold.
Again this makes it near impossible to escape out the top if the bag.
Some sleeping bags have a shaped collar that fits around the neck
very close.
Then the zip closes to the top.
If the zip gets stuck at the top, again there is no easy way to get
out of the bag.
This could be a serous problem for the person trapped inside the
sleeping bag!
I eventually got out of my sleepiing bag by wriggling and chewing at
the zip with my teeth!
BEWARE HUNGRY OLD SLEEPING BAGS!

it truly is not any longer extraordinary, besides the undeniable fact that it has a tendency to be not straightforward on the napping bag. maximum of them are not made to be used nighttime after nighttime, and could initiate ripping and tearing immediately. in addition they want to be washed oftentimes--highly when you're not from now on utilising sheets--and that is even more desirable placed on-and-tear. Washing them is also confusing in case you do not have get admission to to an more desirable-great the front-loader, and drying takes continually and an afternoon.

Try Cabela's website. If it exists, they probably have it. Or any other hunting/camping store.
