Maybe going through the documentation of your ISP would help. Personally I think it will be too big a job to monitor every single site surfed by every person registered with them.

look ISP generally don't monitor the sited u surf, but the WEB server, DNS and RADIUS servers, keep a track record of which sites are being visited by u, no one in ISP looks what u r doing, nor do they have time to do this, now coming to the servers, servers generate log reports for each the ISP's client, this is done in case if some one does something wrong (like writing threatening mail to Presidents or abusing some one, hacking and eavesdroping, security issues) then the person can be traced with the help of those log reports, thats all no body in ISP personally keeps eye on u, bcoz, I myself work in an ISP section of India's one of the reputated ISP.

The people here are right, if you are concerned about what you are doing online, don't do it. And its not as hard as you think for the ISP to monitor all of the traffic on their network. However, I doubt they are really interested in what you are doing, they will probably be mostly checking bandwidth usage logs. Still though, if you are concerned about what you are doing online, don't do it.

Yes, most of them are working with the authorities so they can monitor your actions to check for piracy and hacking actions.

Yes, both answers above are correct. Bottom line: if you're concerned about where you might be going, you definitely should not be going there.
