Why does other blackmen says they hate dark skinned black women (hell i'm Black i love all black women)?

& i'm aware of the white women situation but it's just that all these other blackmen so quick to run out & get them a white girl then when i say i like black women they get mad at me & call me racist (how the hell am i racist i got a few white frinds when i was in college) then they all say light skinned black girls look better then dark skinned am i'm the only brother out here that don't give a ****???????

Well I personally can't speak for all Black men (cuz while I am Black, I'm a woman), but it seems that a lot of them think that way because like many others (other races included), they've mentally fallen victim to the media's elite standard of beauty: long, straight hair, light eyes, fair complexion, thin build, etc. Sadly, it seems that the lighter her complexion, the prettier a woman is considered to be, not only in this country, but all over the world. But those who have a more well-rounded opinion of beauty consider that kind of thinking ridiculous and realize that beautiful women come in all colors, shapes and sizes.

The short answer: Vanity...and they obviously have some unresolved racial-identity issues.

How sad that you even have to justify your appreciations for the beauty of a darker complected woman. Black women come in so many rich and beautiful shades of Blackness; why not appreciate all of them? I think the Black men who make fun of your choice have some serious issues about being Black. It sounds like they are color struck, i.e. only like light skin. How sad for them. Deep down they probably don't even like their own Blackness. It is not racist to appreciate the beauty within your own culture. After all you're not depriving anyone of their social, civil or political rights.

It's because some black men now days only want the physical nature of being a black man. In other words, their physically black but they are not mentally black. When a person who is of African American decent is disgusted by the nature of their ethnicity being a versatile one then clearly they are effected by some sort of complex. Unfortunatley, (some) black men these days don't want to be privately associated with dark skinned women because they feel as though their features are too afrocentric, their skin is too dark, their hair is too nappy. It has been an on-going misconception that dark women are known to be bald head and have nappy hair. The black women (mainly the dark skinned women) has been made out to be the scum of the earth, her skin is looked at with disgust, every part of her being has been rubbed in the filithest part of the the earth. And by who? The black man. Though the disgust of a dark skin woman will only grow among the population as a whole, it is the black man that helps string along the disgust, hatred, direspected to our most powerful resourse; The Black Woman. And I have to say that I as a black woman am ashamed and embarrased by this. the mere fact that were ALL black leaves me no choice but to be associated, when one of us looks and sounds bad, we ALL look and sound bad. I have heard plenty of times myself out of the mouths of black men..they will only date light skin women. Not dark, not brown...but light. I am a woman who loves and carries a great passion for my race and I try not to utter a negative word about my black men or women for that matter. But, I have to say that it is clear that any Black male who is disgusted by a dark skin sista or a sista in general is no good to the black women and see's fit to use their own personal prefence as a cop out as to why THEY don't find a dark skin women attractive. Basically their using dark skin women as a justification to THEIR disfucntion, issues and self hatred. And that, is non other then the slave mentality which is why their still captivated in their own minds.

ya know the thing,now african americans are racist to each other cuz of the very dark skin and the light colored skin thing.some even try to separate themselves from each other,whether ur light skinned or not,i say ur black,im black too,i dont care wat kind of black i am and i dont care dating a light skinned or dark skinned.if they go wat i want,they got it then! how bout gurls too??? my friend says she ONLY wants light skinned men cuz thier sexy and cute,thats just too dumb but i cant say anything cuz shes not gona listen and whats racist about this,ur friends ARE racist!!!!i have 2best friends who are both dark skinned while im light skinned and a whole lot of friend(boys) who are dark skinned and none of them care whether ur light skinned or not,so long as u have a nice personality excpet for that my one friend.i dun give a **** what they also think
