I really think the question should say as a child, or as a adult , what was your best decade. because as a child it was the 1960s. and as an adult it was the 1980s and 1990s.the 1970s was kind of a blur. Watergate.the bad results of a wrong war. the misery index, high taxes and super high inflation and interest rates hovering around 20%.and very high unemployment not enough jobs for the baby boomers, and a real energy crisis with mile long waits to get gas on odd or even days.and everyone was in to themselves and moving to Colorado or Vermont, or Alaska and other rural areas, very much like i can't take it anymore. much like today for many people.

Yeah!Late 60's and the 70's. Not a care in the world. Wasn't afraid to walk on the streets of Montreal after dark. Music was great. Jimmi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison, Ravi Shankar, Patchouli, Love, Peace and Rock n' Roll, Wanted to see the world, wanted to change the world with a song. Man, I miss those days! Worked for next to nothing, partied with next to nothing. Was single and happy to be. no responsibilities, then BANG! Everything was changing, I was changing. I know we can't go back and that living in the past is counterproductive, but man, I really miss the simplicity of lives back then. No computer, no video games,no cell phones. Peace and quiet. (unless you were at the party of the year) ! Sigh!

I grew up in the 80's, Strange decade to say the least. Can't say it was bad though.
What do I think was the best decade? hopefully the next one.
