It was the wierdest thing, It was my 38th birthday! Not my 40th, but my 38th. I remember thinking... Is this all there is to life. I was a stay at home mom and had lots of time to do whatever it was that I wanted to do, in short I was spoiled, I had a beautiful daughter, a terrific husband that I love completely, a few really good friends and yet my life didn't seem fulfilling at all. I had the most depressing couple of weeks after my 38th birthday that I've ever had. Nothing seemed fun to me, and I even remember looking at people cheering on a football game and thinking they are so stupid, how can they get so excited over a game, how fake. I think it's funny now, but boy when I was 38 it was not funny at all, I was depressed and feeling really old. Now I'm 41 and I haven't felt that way since. Life is short, enjoy it!

When I "Think" that I "Know-It-All", and that No One can Show or Tell Me Anything. That is when You're "OLD"! As I am at the 1/2 Century Mark, I see a lot of Folks that are far Younger than I am, that Honestly Believe that They Know everything there is to Know. How Sad ! I don't, and I never will ! How about You ?

I turn 30 this month and still don't feel old but I'll let you know when I do.
Although talking to a friend about her daughter and her feelings of the first PE class where she has to shower with other girls did take me back. Thankfully I never have to do that again!

It starts at 30, not in looks but in feeling it...the minute you put your foot on the floor in the morning. Bam!

It starts when the younger generations frighten and confuse or just flat out annoy you. so for me it started about 4 years ago when I was 24.
