Your postal code is just another name for your Zip code. The 5 digit number that the United States Postal Service uses to identify your area of the US.

fyi...they have postal code all over the world...they are usually 4 or 5 digits...you musts not be american of you are asking that quetion...you will still have a zip code as we call it here...area that you live in is also asssigned a number for mapping on the global scale.
