I just started getting into the manga recently *to expensive before*. So I still have a while to go before I find a solid favorite, but I am really quite taken with Vampire Night. I'm reading it in Shojo Beat. I love the style, very very beautiful, and I've loved vampires sense I first picked up Interview with a vampire. So for me this one has all the making's of my next major obsession. I'm reading Inuyasha, and Kenshin because I watched the series. I picked up Paradise Kiss for the same reason, I like that one a lot too, but I think that the show was pretty faithful to the series so I don't know If I'll see anything new with that one. I'm going to read Fruits Basket because I want to know who it ends (beyond the anime I mean). I'm hoping to start Ouran High school Host Club soon too (I am so in love with that anime right now) I'm going to read the manga from my most favorite series so you could see what I mean by not really know what's best yet, I have to read and find out first.

Nana for shoujo. If you're a shoujo fan, you NEED to read it. It's by the same author who did Paradise Kiss.
For shounen, shrug, Hajime no Ippo rocks my socks off. Brutally beating people up just has universal male appeal.
