Is the book Ham On Rye by Charles Bukowski at all inappropriate for a 13 year old?

I don't think anything by Bukowski is appropriate for a 13 yr old, but he certainly does have a loyal following. He was a foulmouthed misogynistic old drunk but drinking certainly didn't stop him from writing, he wrote his whole life.
