If you are late, take a test. They can detect the hormone after 3 weeks. If it comes back neg and still no cycle, call your Dr.

I waited like a week and a half. Just in case my period was going to come. Sometimes other things can affect it making it late. So thats my suggestion... plus then you dont have to look at the test and be like " is there a little faint line or no?" I hated doing that.

i waited 3 days of being late but thats just me some people take longer to tell then others just remember 13 days after you had your period if you had sex you can be pregnant the sperms stay in you for up to 5 days just remember to keep track of your periods and the days after

i took one today i am 3 days late it came out negative but i still think im pregnant im waiting til next week if i dont get my period b4 then.

it depends on the person...... with my 2nd child i had not missed a period..... my first child i had missed 1 and a half (spotted) and it would not show on a stick so we had to do a blood test

You can take it now, and you can use any test, just make sure you use your first morning urine (HCG-the pregnancy hormone is strongest when urine has sat in your bladder overnight).

i suggest that you wait about a week because you need to give your period time to come if it is coming...don't do it too soon because there is a good chance that it will came back negative
