DIY Chess Set?

I'm looking to creat my own chess set using molds for the pieces. Not sure how to do the board. Most of the molds I've seen around the web are lame. How to create my own. Is there a tutorial out there?

Well, to create a mold, you could either use existing chess pieces, or go ahead and make one of each and then make a mold. To make molds from existing pieces...hmm. What are you planning to make your pieces out of? It could be anything from silicon to plaster of Paris (the mold material, that is).
