It's like boiling a frog in water which heats up so smoothly that the frog is dead before it knows it. The government is slowly taking America's freedoms away, using terrorism as their main excuse for doing so until they finally have an iron hold on the people who willingly gave away their liberties for protection.

I think what Bush wants from the Americans is perfectly in order considering the fact that the threat from the terrorists is real. Any establishment worth its salt needs to be vigilant against the mischiefs of the misguided elements. The Americans need to cooperate with their President rather than poking fun at him. They have stop expecting miracles from him.

He tries to rule with fear. He wants you to think he has the good of the country at heart, but does nothing to help the middle class. He just uses them to fight his useless war.
