North Star from Alpha Flight was homosexual - I think he was the first one. Then it was the Green Lantern. But I didn't know Spiderman was. Where did you read this?
But the answer is yes, probably. But it won't be such a big deal.

What? Spiderman is not gay! And if some show makes him gay well then it is actually the people that made the show that are really gay. Not Spidey! He does whatever a spider can and does. Spiders and all animals other than the animal that is man don't have same sex partners. The world of the wild is straight all except for our species. How upsetting is that?

Spiderman is not gay! Never. I don't believe it. Neither is Batman or Superman.
I can believe it of the Green Lantern, but not Spidey.
Do you remember that joke Dawn French did on the Vicar of Dibley? The one in which WonderWoman is lying spreadeagled on the top of the building. Superman flies past, sees her and does what he's always wanted to do at Superspeed. WonderWoman is delighted. The Invisible Man was shocked.

Dunno who this Spiderman is, but Spider-Man is not gay. ;)
His heterosexuality was revealed in an issue of Amazing Spider-Man shortly before Civil War started when Aunt May said she had suspected he was gay for a while before learning about his super powers. Peter Parker denied being gay and is clearly sexually attracted to his wife, Mary-Jane.
The new Batwoman character will in fact be a lesbian however.
