First off it is not you fault. Don't go putting yourself down. Things happen and for no apparent reason. Have you two talked about it. You need to make a decision on what you are gonna do now. Pray for guidance and strength. I know you are in pain right now but it will get better. Take it one day at a time. Do what you have to do to make it better for you.

God Bless and Good Luck to You!

Have you heard the expression "the only thing better than p***Y is new p***Y"? A little adventurism.
But I can also turn your question around and of course the answer can only be that this is an individual thing -the entire gender is not guilty of this conduct.
I suppose the old ego thing also comes into play - some one still finds me desirable after so long being taken for grantd. maybe

Some guys are jerks just as some women are. Both sexes are guilty. It isn't just men. It is a shame people are that way. They don't truly take their vows seriously. That is a lack of honor and integrity in my opinion. But then, some may say I think that way, because I am a Christian and old fashion.
That might be, but at least I believe in honor and integrity.
I am sorry this happened to you.
May God bless you with a man that deserves to be with you.
Take care.

I could probably answer that if you could tell me "Why women do cheat?", both men and women do it. Is it changes in attitudes, preferences, lack of sex, communication, the possibilities are endless as are the excuses. You can't change someone who wants to be a quitter. Good Luck to you.

Don't feel foolish, honey. He cheated because of HIS weakness. There is nothing to understand, it is a CRAZY, heartbreaking unfortunate situation. Hope you're strengthened and better soon. Remember: weakness is the reason. Bless you.

I don't know either, maybe because they thought they would not get caught. Maybe he feel something was lacking in the marriage. That doen't mean it was your fault.
