My son's tricycle has only been outside for a month and it has hardly gotten wet. It has a few little spots of rust on the handlebars. Besides bringing it in the house (not doing that), is there any product I can put on it to prevent it from rusting?

Car wax. Clean it thoroughly (remove all rust), and then apply the same wax that you'd put on your automobile, I'd recommend one of the better brands, maybe Turtle Wax. Apply and buff as it instructs, and you shouldn't have any more problems with rust. Reapply every few weeks, or more as needed. Little boys can get things dirty, and the wax can be rubbed off, too, so adjust accordingly.
