Do cows eat grass they enjoy the taste or because there are no other options? If a cow was presented with an alternative, would he stay contented with grass or awaken to a realization of disgust?

Cows are smart. They aren't eating animals. Yop. Maybe we should give them a carrot once in a while.. just to see if they like them!

I believe cows eat more than just grass. Alfalfa and hay are also part of their diet. But I am sure they are content either way.
By the way, cows would never come the "realization" of anything. They are completely dumb.

HI LYNNIE, Cows do enjoy eating grass and if they pick an alternet thats fine, They will always come back to their green grass.Hey, It's like a salad to them.Why else would cows poop green.LOL.

Cows love grass. They have four stomachs for digesting it, and when they're not chewing grass, they regurgitate their "cud" and chew that.
