Taking my dad to a vikings/bears game on the 24th, we're only 82 miles away..only a few hours if that. What should I expect..the time it takes to get into the metrodome? Anyone ever been to the Vikings Metrodome? Can you tailgate there, and where?Anyone whos been there, where is the best place to park...easier to get out.?

It's great Hotmama! There's nothing like seeing a game live! You get to see how loud a stadium really gets. You really get caught up in the moment. There's usually a lot to do before the game, too! Email me and I'll tell you more about it!

You Vikings or Bears fans? I know at 'Phish fans get heckled at Ralph Wilson stadium(I should know...I did some of it!:) Divisional rivalries don't tend to be friendly, but going to a football game is a lot fun. Just yeah...the food is overpriced and not that great. No surprise to anyone whose ever been to any sports game at all. But tailgating should be lotsa fun. I don't know much about the Vikes, Bears, or the Metrodome though...

As a Packer fan, I found a Packer bar online that had a shuttle bus to the stadium, so it worked out pretty sweetly for me. (If you're a Bear fan, see if there's a Bears bar.)

Otherwise, I know most of the parking lots around the Humptydome do NOT allow tailgating. It's lame, I know, but we're talking about the Vikings here. Their men wear long blond braids.

since the vikings and the bears play in the same divison there will be a lot of trash talking between fans of the two different teams. the first quater will not be bad, but during the 4th quater if it is a blowout there will be fights left and right and if its a tight game there will be less fights but a lot more yelling.
