I have had an upset stomach since late Sunday night. It's not a sour stomach, and it's not heartburn or indigestion. If it was, I wouldn't be on here asking about it. :o)
Anyway, it's that feeling you get when you eat too much, but it hasn't gone away. It almost--but not quite--reaches the point where I feel like I'm going to throw up. The last full meal I ate was Monday night. Since then, I have eaten some all-natural chips, a few potato wedges (apparently the starch can help), but I haven't really eaten anything else. And that's not like me, either.
I don't really have an appetite. I just don't feel hungry. I have tried antacids and pepto, nothing helps. It's not to the point where it's affecting my work, and it's not to the point where I'm going to go to the doctor (I'm an EMT, and I know all the doc will do is give me a roll of rolaids and tell me to come back in a week if I haven't gotten any better), but it's really, really annoying.
Any ideas?

in Spanish we have a term for that... "empachado"... Pretty much it translates to constipation. There's a lots of reasons why it can occur, mostly it's bad eating habits, not eating all your vegetables. What they do to fix it is get some warm baby oil and start massaging your arms and legs and stomach in circular motions. You will probably notice that some muscles are tensed and you have to try to flatten them out. For your stomach you want to massage in a circular motion, I think it's counterclockwise. Anyhow--- hope you get better. They say chamomile is also good for an upset stomach, you might want to try it.
