If you are using win XP, it should detect your wireless mouse without the need to use the floppy to install it. What you need to do it plug in the USB plug which came along with the mouse to your PC (make sure you have also placed the batteries in your wireless mouse). After you have plugged in the USB socket into your PC, try to press the small tiny round button on the USB socket (you can use a pen to poke it or a straigthened paper clip will do). This will try to detect and activate your mouse (somethimes there is also a small button on the mouse too, in that case press that too). This should install your wireless mouse.

If the above did not work try to give your PC a reboot. This should work.

GOOD LUCK!!

I have a logitech cordless mouse, and I got a receiver, which goes into a usb port in the back of my computer. You plug that in, and set it by your monitor someplace out of sight. Then if you have batteries, put them in the mouse, then you need to press the little button on the receiver, that says connect. I also have a real small button on the bottom of my mouse, that says connect. You need to press them both, so that they will connect with each other..good luck..
