You don't say how old you are. Something is toxic in your body and/or your circulation is poor for some reason. Do you sit a lot, don't exercise, eat a lot of salty foods, refined carbohydrates, fast food or not drink enough water? If you are still fairly young it could be any or all of the above. If any of those are the case then you need to change your diet, get some exercise and/or drink more water. If that doesn't help in a few weeks or if it isn't any of those things, then you should see your doctor. It could be something in the realm of disease. There is a lot of excellent advice in the above answers as well.

See a Doctor. I'm sorry I cannot give you anymore advice than this, but it is unsafe to ask medical questions online because firstly, the public does not have your medical history, and secondly you may be misdiagnosed. Go to the doctor, and if you're not happy with the disagnosis, seek a second opinion. Good Luck.

It could be your kidneys or you could just be a water retainer. Do your joints hurt at all? My swelling makes my joints hurt and I take a diuretic daily and it really helps. I makes me pee a lot, but it works.

It could be congestive heart failure, kidney problems, circulation problems, too much salt, etc...
Hard to say for sure.
You need tests to rule the most important things out.
Elevate them above your heart.
Look for compression stockings
And see your doc
