Yes. He will definitely be back. As the first guy said, at least to break the record. He might even retire mid-season (or he could be traded and be an everyday DH). I hope he will. I am a Giants fan and it'd be great to see him break the record.

Greg J - has your head been in a hole? He just had a three-game stretch with a home run in each game. Pay attention or don't talk!

I think he won't be aloud even if he wants to, my prediction is that he will be convicted for steroid use in the 2007 off season and his records will be erased. I believe his name doesnt deserve to be intered into the devine Baseball hall of fame. p.s. Ruth is the only real home run king. I really wanna see todays "power" hitters hit a home run with Babe Ruth's bat which is about 2 pounds heavier than a bat any baseball player uses today. It was even said to be too heavy to use by the great hitter Tony Gwin when he was offered to use it in a pennant game a few seasons ago.

I'd say doubtful. He'll come back to the Giants to at least break the record next year. I wouldn't be surprised even if he gets traded mid-season or somehow becomes a DH in the American League by the end of next year. I think the allure of being able to join a team capable of winning a title will keep him around until his body completely errodes.

Yes to an american league team
it will not be the yankees because they already have enough great players and giambi as a dh also i dont think the yankees would take him because of his big critics

i think he may go to detroit because they need a dh since they released dmitri young

He told ESPN I think, that he will come back next season. Sports people say he might play in the American League as a DH. His knee is that bad now. He might be a Yankee.

I don't think so.I'm sure the Giants will want to keep him around cuz he draws the crowd. So even if he isn't doing as great as he once was, they are gonna want him for other reasons too.As he gets closer to breaking the home run record, more people will show up to their games.

I doubt it. I think that he knows that he has a real chance of becoming the greatest home run hitter of all time. If he doesn't achieve that goal then the deal he made with the steroid devil will have been for naught.

hey heath, git yer head outta yer backside!! bonds is a drug takin fool, and even if he does break the record, most true baseball fans won't acknowledge it. baseball doesn't need druggies like him, and he should get the same treatment pete rose did. you cheat, you pay.

I don't think so, but I don't really care either way.
If he does: Good Riddance.
If he doesn't: I don't watch the Giants anyway unless there's
no other game on.
Sorry SF fans. Just tellin' the truth.
