I'm not sure. Do you have a full understanding of the implications and ramifications of the finer points of your faith? It is a pretty broad category you are talking about.

Some people are just starting out and have no way to even guess about those things. Just like in most areas of life, you learn what you can and deal with things to the best of your ability as you learn about them.

uh huh? Those sure are big words. Why don't you just ask if you know what you're doin'.

nobody implies a thing with the occult...it is nothing but do all and do well. ramifications? are you asking as in consequences? If you practice the only consequence that will blindside you is other peoples' personal morals attempting to push you around. Outside of that, that's the only thing I can think to say.

I think this is a question for the philosophical and the degreed to answer. Someone with lots of book sense and no common sense.

What makes anybody think that what they claim to practice as their religon or occult doctrine is based in truth.
If it was a 'big' secret then how did it end up in a book or on the internet. Those that take the ancient knowledge seriously protect it. It's a very old trick to practice one thing and release ficticous information about it, thats how you keep it a secret! There are very few magick and ritual books, and there not in the bookstore, most of popular occultism is a hodge podge of this and that and some stuff that is nothing at all, sorry.

Which implications are you talking about? There's a pretty big list from all kinds of different directions.

ETA: As for ramifications...well, we do indeed practice sanity breaks. As in, time to take a break in order to retain your sanity.

Do we ever really know all the answers, understand everything around us? I don't believe so, although I think I understand a lot simply because I study (a lot). There is always something new out there in the world to jump out at you.

And for the record I appreciate the questions. Gives me something to think about tonight.
