Erasure is used to erase pencil written information on paper. As ball pen or computer printed information on paper cannot be erased, correction fluid is applied. Correction fluids color will be similar to color of the paper, generally in white. Fresh information can be written once correction fluid dries up on the paper. Hope this clarifies.

It is White out. That's what you use when you are writing in permanent pen and you make a mistake. You use the white out to basically erase it or "white it out".
