It will probably take some time since it was on so long. I would try massaging your fingers with a good moisturizer at night. It will hydrate the skin and cause it to plump up again, making the indent dissappear. Also, staying hydrated overall (drinking lots of water) won't hurt either. Good Luck and God Bless!

Duck tape, cut the duck tape to fit around your finger where the ring was, and wear it for a week or two, with out taking off for any reason.By the end if the time, the indent should be gone. I know it sound weird, but It works.

well the ring was on for a really long time, and you probably wore it 24/7. I think the rule is for every year the ring was on that it will take half that time in months for the indent to disappear. I think you have 8 months to go.

Too bad you're not only dealing with a tan-line of it...I don't know but I would suggest you massage the heck out of it all the time to give the tissues in your finger the 'hint' to re-adjust.

My finger is the same way when I take it off because my finger must've gotten thicker; but I can still get my ring on somehow. I know what you mean; it's like 'molded' there. Good luck, woman.

Massage the area for 5 minutes and moisturize it every evening...the indent should disappear soon as well as the tan line!

There may also be a callus on the inner surface of the finger. I'd say, though, that the duct tape idea does sound rational, if a little strange...

It will go in time. Meanwhile, if the area is whiter than the rest of your skin, try 'sunning' it so that is isn't so noticable, or, buy yourself a cute little dress ring and cover it! Good luck.

It will disappear on it's own..try doing some finger strengthening exercises --like squeezing a rubber ball or something to try to build up those tiny muscles again..but it will happen anyways...

I'm so sorry to hear that...it will take sometimes, but it will go away eventually... But heart indent will stay longer than that like me.... Cheer up!

I'd just wear another ring, maybe a bigger one so the dent can eventually come out while hidden.
